Xavier College Preparatory

The Tradition of Excellence at Xavier

Founded in 1943 by the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Xavier College Preparatory has built an outstanding tradition of academic excellence, leadership development, athletics, and community service over its 79 years.  At Xavier, we prepare young women of all faiths and diverse backgrounds with the skills, knowledge, integrity, and confidence to meet the demands of an ever-changing global society.  Here, there are no limits to what girls can do.

  • 1200 students from more than 150 elementary and middle schools throughout the valley attend our richly diverse all-girls high school.

  • Service is integral to the Xavier experience.  Students collectively contribute more than 30,000 service hours annually to numerous local organizations in need.

  • Xavier offers ALL students a college preparatory curriculum including electives ranging from the visual and performing arts to 3D printing and AP® Computer Science Principles.  Honors and Advanced Placement® courses are offered to those who qualify.

  • Xavier is the first secondary school in Arizona to offer an extensive college credit program allowing students to earn an Associates Degree while still in high school.

  • Xavier is an AIA Blue Cup Award recipient for the most  outstanding program in Academics, Athletics, and Activities.

  • A three time recipient of the National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education, Xavier has demonstrated time and again its broad pursuit of excellence.

  • 100% of Xavier graduates are accepted to four-year colleges and universities.

  • As over 45% of Xavier students receive financial aid, Xavier is committed to helping families invest in an exceptional education for their daughters and their bright futures.

  • Thanks to the generosity of countless sponsors and donors of the Xavier Fashion Show, our community has raised almost two and a half million dollars since 2011 to ensure that the pursuit of excellence is an option for all young women at Xavier College Preparatory.
