Every great team needs a game plan. At Friends of the Children, our playbook is built on one powerful strategy: long-term, consistent mentorship. Our professional mentors, called Friends, step onto the field every day to coach, encourage, and stand alongside youth as they tackle obstacles and move forward toward their biggest dreams. But no team wins with one player alone. It takes a full community of supporters to help youth and families cross the goal line.
This year, on March 26th, you can join our game-day huddle at our 2026 FRIENDRaiser. This will be a powerful evening where our supporters join our team to champion our kids.
We invite you to wear cocktail business formal attire, with sports-inspired details or red, white, and blue accents in honor of Huddle Up for Kids.
