About Child Crisis Arizona

For nearly five decades, Child Crisis Arizona has been a trusted partner to children and families across our state, stepping in during moments of crisis and working year-round to prevent them. Our mission is simple and urgent: to provide children and youth in Arizona a safe environment free from abuse and neglect by creating strong, successful families.

Every program we offer is rooted in our vision of safe kids and strong families.

On Saturday, March 21, 2026, nearly 500 of Arizona’s most influential and purpose-driven community leaders, philanthropists, and longtime supporters will gather for the Child Crisis Arizona Gala. This powerful evening brings together individuals who are deeply committed to protecting children, strengthening families, and creating lasting change across our community.

Funds raised through this event support our full continuum of prevention, intervention, and education programs, including emergency shelters for children and youth, foster care and adoption services, independent living programs for young adults transitioning out of care, early childhood education, family strengthening initiatives, and healing spaces like Whispering Hope Ranch. Last year alone, our intervention programs provided 82,595 nights of safety and comfort, while our prevention programs positively impacted 49,635 individuals across Arizona.
