Hospice of the Valley

Hospice of the Valley is Arizona’s original hospice, founded as a not-for-profit organization by a group of volunteers.  Since 1977, our mission has focused on “bringing comfort, dignity and compassionate care to our community.”

To meet evolving needs, we provide a full spectrum of services, including supportive care for adult and pediatric patients with chronic health issues; supportive care for families living with all types and stages of dementia; and home-based primary care for those too frail to get to their doctor.

Our new innovative Dementia Care and Education Campus helps people learn to “live well with dementia” as they navigate the challenging dementia journey from the time of diagnosis on. This vital community resource features a Community Education Center that brings together people from all walks of life-- from healthcare professionals and students to family caregivers—to share best practices and improve quality of life. The center will also help train a dementia-capable workforce for the future. The Adult Day Club provides socialization for members and respite for family caregivers. An adjoining Child Center promotes intergenerational enrichment and provides fun activities for preschoolers. The campus also features a small Assisted Living Center and dementia Hospice Inpatient Home.

Hospice of the Valley cares for all, turning no one away regardless of financial circumstances.
