The raffle will be subject to the following terms and conditions, which you agree to when purchasing one or more raffle tickets.
1. Prize. The raffle winner will win a 2025 Pro S 4 Ultimate Polaris RZR (Moss Green) from Iron City Polaris located at 3151 N. Piper Avenue Casa Grande, Arizona 85122. Includes tax, title, registration, and setup. Does not include accessories or after-market equipment or the payment of federal or state income or withholding taxes. The raffle winner will be responsible for paying applicable federal and state withholding tax before taking possession of the RZR. If the winner is unable to pay the federal and state withholding tax, he or she may select the cash equivalent option described in the next paragraph. See Paragraph 6 below for more information on the raffle winner’s obligation to pay taxes.
The raffle winner may choose a cash equivalent in lieu of taking possession of the 2025 Pro S 4 Ultimate Polars RZR. The cash equivalent will be valued at $40,000.00, less the amount withheld paid to the federal and state governments by the Compadres for income or withholding taxes.
2. Raffle Date; Odds. The winner will be selected by no later than May 15, 2025 by the Chandler Compadres.
There will be a maximum of 3,500 raffle tickets sold. Odds of winning are based on the actual number of tickets sold. The Compadres make no representations or warranties regarding the odds of winning or the quality or character of the item to be raffled.
The winner will be determined by the Chandler Compadres using a random drawing of purchased tickets.
The Chandler Compadres Board of Directors, Active and Life Members, and their immediate family members are not eligible to win a raffle prize. For purposes of this raffle, “immediate family member” shall mean the person’s spouse, children, parents, and siblings.
No mail-in raffle ticket purchases are allowed.
3. Credit Card Transaction Fees. A credit card transaction processing fee equal to 3.7% of the raffle ticket purchase price will be charged at the point of sale. You will be responsible for paying this credit card transaction processing fee at the time of purchase.
4. Restrictions on Ticket Purchase. You must be 21 years or older and a legal resident of the State of Arizona to purchase a raffle ticket or to claim a raffle prize. The purchase of a raffle ticket permits you to only win one (1) prize. There may be other prizes raffled off throughout the year and if you are the winner of one of those prizes, the winning raffle ticket will be removed from future drawings and not eligible to win additional raffle prizes. There is no guaranty that the Compadres will raffle off other prizes and you should not rely on such information in making your decision to purchase a raffle ticket.
5. Receipt of Raffle Prize - You must pick up the raffle prize from the location designated by the Chandler Compadres. Transportation/Delivery is not included for the winner. You will have 14 days after notification to claim the prize. The winner will forfeit the prize if not claimed within 14 days after notification. The winner cannot assign the raffle prize to another person.
6. Not Redeemable for Cash; Photo Identification. The winner may not redeem the prize for cash. The winner must present a valid photo identification to claim and pick up the prize. Failure to do so will result in a forfeiture of the prize.
7. Tax Liability. The purchase of a raffle ticket is generally considered to be a non-deductible donation to a charitable organization. The Compadres make no representations regarding the ability to deduct from your taxes the purchase price of the raffle ticket. You are advised to consult with legal and tax professionals of your choosing.
This raffle is subject to the income tax withholding requirements currently in effect with federal and state taxing authorities. The raffle winner will be responsible for the payment of all income tax associated with winning the raffle. Before the raffle winner can claim the RZR, he or she must: (1) provide their name, address, social security number, and telephone number to the Compadres and (2) tender payment of the amount of income withholding tax to be paid to the federal and state tax authorities. The Compadres will deposit the amount paid by the raffle winner with federal and state tax authorities. The raffle winner will receive a Form W2-G from the Compadres.
The amount to be paid to the Compadres will be determined by the Compadres based on 2025 withholding requirements imposed by federal and state tax authorities. You should assume that this amount will equal anywhere from 24% to 40% of the fair market value of the raffle prize.
If you are unwilling to pay the amount to be withheld, as determined by the Compadres, or otherwise comply with the requirements of this Paragraph 6, you will be disqualified from this raffle and no longer eligible to win.
8. Marketing. By purchasing a raffle ticket, you consent to the Compadres using your image, voice, and likeness in any marketing material associated with the raffle or future raffles.
9. Release and Indemnity. BY PURCHASING A RAFFLE TICKET, YOU ARE RELEASING AND WAIVING THE CHANDLER COMPADRES AND ITS DIRECTORS, MEMBERS, AND AGENTS FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DAMAGES, COSTS, EXPENSES, OR LIABILITIES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR PURCHASE OF A RAFFLE TICKET, THE EXECUTION OF THE RAFFLE, AND ANY PRIZE YOU MAY RECEIVE IN CONNECTION WITH THE RAFFLE. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU HEREBY AGREE TO INDEMNIFY, DEFEND, AND HOLD THE CHANDLER COMPADRES AND ITS DIRECTORS, MEMBERS, AND AGENTS HARMLESS FROM ANY CLAIM ASSERTED AGAINST THEM IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR PURCHASE OF A RAFFLE TICKET.
10. Limitation on Liability. By purchasing a raffle ticket, you hereby acknowledge and agree to the fullest extent permitted by law, that the total aggregate liability of the Chandler Compadres AND its respective directors, members, and agents to you in connection with any claim, demand, action, or lawsuit arising out of or in connection with the raffle is expressly limited to the raffle ticket price actually paid by you to the CHANDLER compadres.
11. Severability. If any provision herein or the application thereof to any person or circumstance shall be adjudged to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable to any extent, the remainder of the terms and conditions set forth herein and the application thereof shall not be affected and shall be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12. Governing Law. This raffle shall be governed by the laws of the State of Arizona.
13. Dispute Resolution; Venue. Any dispute or controversy involving the Chandler Compadres arising out of or in connection with the raffle shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, in the superior court residing in Maricopa County, Arizona. Any and all claims, judgments, and awards will be limited to actual third party, out of pocket costs incurred, if any, and shall not exceed the raffle ticket price actually paid by the claimant.
14. Attorneys Fees Not Awardable. In no event will attorneys’ fees or court costs be awardable to the prevailing party. Each party hereby voluntarily waives and releases their respective right to request an award of attorneys’ fees or court costs in connection with any dispute or controversy.
15. Waiver of Consequential Damages. By purchasing a raffle ticket, you hereby waive any claim against the Chandler Compadres for any special, consequential, indirect, punitive, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with the raffle.
16. Cancellation. The Compadres reserve the right to cancel the raffle for any reason whatsoever, including, without limitation, the occurrence of an act of god or force majeure event, or the occurrence of an event outside of the reasonable control of the Compadres, or if an insufficient number of tickets are sold, as determined by the Compadres, in their sole and absolute discretion. In the event the raffle is cancelled, the Compadres will return the face value of each raffle ticket to the purchaser.
