Phoenix Father’s Day Walk: A Morning with Dad

Join the Arizona Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence (ACESDV), the City of Phoenix Human Services Department, MANCAVE, and Chicanos Por La Causa for the inaugural Phoenix Father’s Day Walk, a FREE community event dedicated to honoring fatherhood, uplifting male survivors, and strengthening safe and nurturing families across Arizona.

Our Father’s Day Walk is designed to be an uplifting, family-centered celebration. This special morning brings together fathers, families, supporters, and partners to celebrate connection, healing, and the powerful role positive male involvement plays in shaping safer futures for children. 

Date: Saturday, June 6, 2026

Check-In time: 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.
Opening Ceremony: 8:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

Walk Time: 9:00am - 10:00am
Event Window: Activities continue until 12:00 p.m.
Location: Encanto Park, Phoenix, Arizona
Attire: Comfortable summer attire suitable for outdoor activities

This uplifting family centered experience includes:

Community Gathering and Check In – Connect with community partners and prepare for the morning’s activities.

Family Friendly Activities – Explore resource tables, interactive stations - make a tie and card for Dads, and kids’ activities highlighting support for fathers and families. Activities will remain open until 12:00 p.m.

Food Trucks On-Site - Indulge in a variety of foods and drinks for free and for purchase. (First 200 registered guests will have access to free breakfast burritos and donuts)

All Women Mariachi  - All women Mariachi there to serenade and cheer you on as you walk.

Folklórico - In attendance to keep everyone moving!

DJ/Music

Arizona Cardinals - One or more Arizona Cardinals will be in attendance, come out and show support.

Purpose Driven Programming – Hear inspiring stories of fatherhood, resilience, and the impact of male engagement in prevention, healing, and healthy family life.

*The first 200 registered Fathers receive a complimentary Father’s Day t-shirt. 

For the safety and comfort of all attendees, Encanto Park policies remain in effect during the event, including the requirement that all dogs present be kept on a leash.
