To maximize our fundraising efforts, it preferred that all items purchased during the auction are picked up at the Phoenix Zoo. Please visit the FAQs for more information about pick-up.

If shipping is requested by the buyer, the Zoo will charge the buyer, prior to shipping, the actual cost to be incurred. The item(s) will be shipped at the buyer’s own risk. Breakable items and items large in size are not recommended to be shipped.

The Phoenix Zoo will not ship out of state. Alcohol will not be shipped.

All item(s) must be picked up by November 1, 2025. All remaining item(s) will be considered a donation to the Phoenix Zoo.

Auction FAQs

When/How do I pay for my item(s)?

Upon completion of Bidders for Critters at 12 p.m. (noon) on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, a message will be sent prompting you to view your cart and use self-checkout. You can use the card you have on-file or switch to a new one. Self-checkout will remain open until 12 p.m. (noon) Wednesday, July 30, 2025. After this time any balances or item(s) in your cart will be charged to the card on file.

If you wish to pay by check, please contact eventdonations@phoenixzoo.org before 12 p.m. (noon) on Wednesday, July 30, 2025.

At this time, cash payment will not be accepted.

 

 

I won item(s) by bidding the Buy Now price, can I pick up before end of the auction?

Yes. Bidders will not be asked to check out or pay until the conclusion of the auction on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. However, if a bidder would like to make their payment and pick up item(s) prior to the end of the auction, they may email eventdonations@phoenixzoo.org with the request. Arrangements must be made with at least one business days’ notice before picking up.

 

 

How do I receive my item(s)?

Shortly after checking out, bidders will be manually emailed a link to sign-up for item pick up at the Zoo via SignUpGenius. Choose the available date and time that works best for you, enter your bidder number and winning package numbers. You will receive an email from SignUpGenius confirming your pick-up day/time.

All item(s) must be picked up by November 1, 2025. All remaining item(s) will be considered a donation to the Phoenix Zoo.

 

 

Where do I go to pick up my item(s)?

Once you have scheduled your pick-up time on SignUpGenius, you will pick up your item(s) at the Philip & JoEllen Doornbos Administrative Center located at the Phoenix Zoo (455 North Galvin Parkway, Phoenix, AZ 85008). This building is to the left of the main Zoo entrance and ticket windows.

Be sure to bring a form of identification.

 

 

What if I have a problem with SignUpGenius or need to choose another pick-up time?

SignUpGenius will allow you to move times if your schedule changes.

Please email eventdonations@phoenixzoo.org if you have any problems with SignUpGenius or need to pick up at a time outside of those offered on SignUpGenius.

 

 

None of the times available on SignUpGenius work for me, what do I do?

The times listed on SignUpGenius are all that will be available for our official Bidders for Critters Auction Pick-up, no new times will be added. Bidders for Critters official auction pick-up will last for two weeks starting on Thursday, July 31, 2025, and ending on August 9, 2025.

 

Arrangements can be made for pick-ups outside of those offered on SignUpGenius on a case-by-case basis. Please email eventdonations@phoenixzoo.org to make arrangements for another time. Arrangements must be made with at least one business days’ notice before picking up.

 

 

When do I need to pick up my item(s) by?

After checkout, bidders will be emailed a link to sign-up for pick up via SignUpGenius. Bidders should sign up for a time/date to pick up their item(s). Please be aware this a manual process and might

The Phoenix Zoo will not ship out of state.

Raffle FAQs

 

Who can win the Zoo & You 50/50 Raffle?

Anyone aged 18 or older is eligible to win the raffle. Entrants do not need to participate in any way with the Bidders for Critters auction in order to win or increase their chances of winning. Every entry has an equal chance of winning.

 

 

I don’t like using my payment information on a website, can I enter the raffle?

At this time, we are only accepting raffle purchases via the AES site. This site is secure and is Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliant, according to Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

 

 

I am having issues with the AES site, what can I do?

Purchases must be made online on the AES website. If you’re experiencing difficulties with the site, please contact eventdonations@phoenixzoo.org or 602.286.3855.

 

 

What are my chances of winning?

Your chances of winning depend on how many entries are sold. Every entry has an equal chance of winning.

 

 

I just purchased a raffle entry, how do I know that I was entered?

Your receipt you received for your raffle purchase(s) serves as verification. You can reach out to eventdonations@phoenixzoo.org to have a receipt resent or if you have questions.

 

 

When does the raffle start and end?

The Zoo & You 50/50 Raffle starts at 12 p.m. (noon) on June 17, 2025, and closes at 12 p.m. (noon) on July 29, 2025.

 

 

How will I know if I won the raffle?

The winner will be contacted on Tuesday, June 29, 2025, by email and/or phone.

After the winner’s eligibility has been confirmed, the winner’s name will be announced on the webpage and via email to all entrants.

 

 

What are other ways I can support the Zoo?

There are various ways to support the non-profit Phoenix Zoo. You can make a direct donation, purchase items off the Zoo’s Wish Listvolunteer your time with the Zoo or even become a Zoo member!
